Where Does Fest Anča Take Place?
The main venue of the festival is the Stanica Žilina-Záriečie Cultural Centre, situated at 3 Závodská Cesta, Žilina.
Among Fest Anča’s screening places, there is also the Žilina Puppet Theatre, situated at 6 Kuzmányho Street. Thanks to Telka v meste (TV in the City), this year you can also watch cartoons in the open air movie theatre at the Andrej Hlinka Square (Námestie Andreja Hlinku). You will also find us at Artforum Bookshop at 11 Mariánske Square.
What Are the Accomodation Possibilities ?
Accredited festival visitors can set up a tent for 5 EUR in a guarded campsite situated right next to the Stanica Cultural Centre. For the same price, they can be accomodated overnight in the Sokolovňa gymnasium. The capacity of both facilities is limited and we recommend to make a reservation online. More information on accomodation in Žilina can be found at the websites of Hliny Dormitory, Dunaqua Hostel, Hotel Slovakia, Hotel Slovan or Hotel Dubná Skala.
Where to eat and drink?
At Stanica, you will find a bar with a wide offer of soft drinks and spirits. There are also food stands with vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. If you are looking for a food spot in the vicinity of the New Synagogue and the Puppet Theatre, we recommend visiting the new cafe in the Synagogue!
